For your consideration is a Vintage 1951 Seeburg (Select-O-Matic) Jukebox 100B. This particular 1950s JUKEBOX Plays 7 (45 rpm) Vinyl Records.
What is included is what you see in the photos attached. Including the original key to the back panel. Such Artists on the vinyls include (but not limited to): Dollie Parton, Linda Ronstadt, Willie Nelson, George Strait, The Chordettes, Everly Brothers, Brenda Lee, Neil Diamond, Beach Boys, The Beatles, The Carpenters, Kenny Rogers, Randy Travis, The Monkees, Stevie Wonder, Elvis Presley, Olivia Newton-John, Glen Campbell, Tanya Tucker, Vince Gill, and many many more! This particular jukebox obviously is vintage and pre-owned in used condition. The Jukebox does light up which looks super neat!
, and the record player mechanism motor runs, as well as the amplifier. I had this thing tuned-up over 30 some odd years ago and it worked perfectly before putting it in storage. I stored it away in my garage for all those years and recently took it out due to needing room in my garage, as I have no use for the jukebox anymore. (Which should not be a hard thing to fix if you know what youre doing or if you have someone to repair it, then this thing should work like a charm).
The wood/veneer and box itself has obvious signs of wear, chips, marks etc. The original coin box lid went missing and I had one made 30 years ago and it fits perfectly in the slot (It just needs a lock and needs to be stained and/or rewrapped to match the jukebox wrapping). The jukebox does turn on and off at the main power switch in the back and the knobs to the sound seem to work as well. Also, the switches to turn the motor on and off inside the cabinet work fine, as well. But, it should work as stated, I had it tuned up years ago, the tubes all light-up, and it all worked fine! I was thinking about having it repaired but would rather just sell it As-Is for somebody to fix up themselves, or if you happen to know how to do it yourself, even better.
The jukebox does light up from the main tubular bulb. However the colored vinyl mechanism w/ rotating motor is not attached (I just have them both placed inside the Jukebox for now to show the different colors when turned on).
But, I do have the motor to re-attach or connect for whoever buys the jukebox. I also have several other parts/pieces as well that I will be including in a misc box. I would also mention that the jukebox is missing both locks to the glass cover/dome on each side, as well as a few of the front aluminum moldings that went around the push-button mechanism. I just could not figure it out nor do I have the time honestly to do so.
