Limited 180 gram vinyl LP pressing. The Long Run is the sixth studio album by the American rock group The Eagles, it was originally released in 1979. Rock n roll, R&B and melodic pop joined together to give the Eagles their third straight #1 LP, which remained on the charts for more than 13 months. The title track and I Cant Tell You Why both went Top 10, and the impossibly catchy rocker Heartache Tonightwritten by Henley and Frey with J. Souther and Bob Segerrocketed straight to #1. Also includes Joe Walshs In the City plus The Sad Café; Those Shoes, and more!

One of These Night sis the fourth studio album by The Eagles, released in 1975. Frey and Henley scored big on this 1975 LP, reaching #1 with the title song (a Bee Gees-like blend of falsetto harmonies and disco beats) and #2 with the folk-rock gem Lyin Eyes.

But the third smash here was a Randy Meisner feature, Take It to the Limit; those join Too Many Hands; Hollywood Waltz; Visions, and the rest of the album that saw the Eagles arrive at the doorstep of superstardom! Hotel California was the fifth studio album by the American rock band Eagles, released on Asylum in late 1976.

It is the first Eagles album without the appearance of their founding member Bernie Leadon and their first album with guitarist Joe Walsh. Contains the hit title track as well as "Life in the Fast Lane, " "New Kid in Town, " "The Last Resort" and more. Eagles is the debut album by the rock band of the same name, released in 1972. The Eagles displayed an embarrassment of riches of singers and songwriters on their outstanding 1972 debut.

As you hear the big hits Take It Easy; Witchy Woman, and Peaceful Easy Feeling plus Nightingale; Earlybird; Take the Devil, and the rest of the LP, youll hear the voices of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner and songs penned by all of them plus Gene Clark and Jackson Browne, too! Desperado is the second studio album by The Eagles. It was recorded at Island Studios in London, United Kingdom and released in 1973. Features "Tequila Sunrise, " "Doolin' Dalton, " and the title track. Desperado is a concept album, based on the themes of the Old West.

Originally, Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Jackson Browne, and J. Souther were working on a series of songs about anti-heroes, but ran out of ideas after writing "Doolin' Dalton" and "James Dean". The latter was shelved and they instead began to write songs from the themes established in "Doolin' Dalton". The band members are featured on the album's cover dressed like an outlaw gang; Desperado remains the only Eagles album where the band members appear on the front cover. Although the title track is one of The Eagles' signature songs, it was never released as a single.

The song "Desperado" was ranked #494 on Rolling Stone? S 2004 list of "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time". The album did yield two singles, though: "Tequila Sunrise" and "Outlaw Man". Those two singles reached #64 and #59 respectively. Desperado was the last Asylum Records album to be distributed in North America by Atlantic Records catalog no. SD 5068, prior to Asylum's mid-1973 merger with Elektra Records by Asylum's, Elektra's and Atlantic's parent company, Warner Communications.
